“A NEW STYLE FOR THE REGION”
The first "Golf Course" of the region built by Hasan Kalyoncu University (HKU) was opened by the attendance of Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. Opening of golf club included within HKU Campus was made by Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu. Çavuşoğlu travelling around the golf course under intense interests of the students and the personnel travelled by golf cart within golf course. Minister Çavuşoğlu stating that he liked golf club a lot had memory photos taken mentioning that it would bring a new style to Gaziantep and the region. Minister Çavuşoğlu wishing that golf club would bring good luck to our region and our country and the protocol members performed opening of golf course by ribbon cutting. Minister Mevlüt Çavuşoğlu and Cemal Kalyoncu passing to golf course together after the opening hit the first ball on golf course and sent the ball faraway. Çavuşoğlu, whose experience on golf may not be unnoticed, was admired greatly. Minister Çavuşoğlu and Kalyoncu tried to throw golf ball to faraway points by making ball shots. Performances of Çavuşoğlu and Kalyoncu were equally good to professional golf sportsmen.
